The "Filets Rouge" dinnerware is a new colour variation of the famous blue classic from Gien. The enchanting shell shape of the dinner service of ecru-coloured faience is adorned with a hand-painted line in red.
Faience is a fine, porous earthenware which is tin-glazed and then fired repeatedly. This technique dates back to the time of the Ancient Egyptians. It is a technique that has been used and perfected in a unique way by the Fayencerie de Gien (Gien Faience Factory) since 1821.
